I want to thank Substack user k rob for providing a link to more recordings of class lectures delivered by His Excellency Bishop Richard Williamson, this time teaching the Gospel According to St. John during the academic year 1996-1997 at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Winona, MN.

I collected them here, applied a naming convention similar to that of the previous recordings, and uploaded a .zip file containing the .mp3 versions of the files in one place, so that subscribers to this Substack might conveniently find them on the same site where they found the others.

While the topic for this series might appear to be rather specific and narrow, namely, a Sacred Scripture class focused on the Gospel According to St. John, as always, His Excellency often digresses onto a wide variety of subjects, thereby expounding rather significantly on the greater portion of his wider body of teaching. With this collection, there’s also a very brief title given to each class lecture, occasionally citing the topic of a major digression.

I cannot overstate the degree to which I myself had benefitted from the gifts of such a talented instructor, so that I was happy to find this opportunity to share at least some taste of the experience with others who had not been as blessed as I, and to enable His Excellency to continue teaching even from eternity. May Bishop Williamson’s soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Requiescant in pace.

I also intend to post about my personal experience with Bishop Williamson at another time. While others have shared myriad recollections, stories, and anecdotes, I intend to expound more about how in a very real sense, His Excellency was the father of my intellect, tranforming a mind softened, infected, polluted, and confused into a pile of mush by the modern educational system, with many years under the tutelage of Modernist-heretic Jesuists, into that of a rigorous logician rivalling the fictional character Mr. Spock, with very little tolerance for anything other than objective reality.

Please be advised that this is a very large file, of about 2.8 GB. At some point I will break these up into smaller sets (in addition to having the single large file). Once you unzip or “extract” the contents of the .zip file, within the target folder simply sort by the filename in ascending order and that will correspond also with the chronological order of the lectures due to the file-naming convention I employed. There’s also a metadata field called # that is hidden on some operating systems by default but which you may be able add to the “explorer” bar for your convenience.
